I ordered the Pit Burger plate. The burger was really good. Definitely smoked on a real wood fired pit, seasoned perfectly, and a visible smoke ring on the burger. Will return when back in Lufkin to check out the other meats on their menu. Friendly folks and great customer service. Ended up visiting with the owners longer than I ate my lunch. Great people and great place!!!

Stopped by here after a long, long road trip and made the right choice stopping here. The ribs were HIGE and so tender that when I tried to pick it up the bones feel out by themselves! Overall amazing and delicious. Everything was homemade and everyone there was so kind. Try the banana pudding if you get the chance too.

The owners were friendly, the service was great. I had the cheeseburger and Mac and cheese. Both were really good. The burger had the smoky pot flavor, the veggies were fresh and the bun was pretty dang good for Mrs. Baird’s. The Mac and Cheese was tasty as well.

Great food. My wife ordered a burger and I ordered a loaded baked potato and it was LOADED, brisket, sausage butter, and spices. Very good food. Only “tick” was it took a while to get our order in the drive thru. We will return to check out more of the menu..

Food was excellent and the customer service is great. The best BBQ In Lufkin TX. Get there early if you want to try the Brisket. It goes FAST. The Peach Cobbler is straight fire too. I will definitely be back

Had the chopped beef and a sausage wrap. The BBQ sauce was decent, a little sweet. The meat was good, nice smokey flavor. The setup was a little weird but the owners were super friendly.

Best pit burgers, beans, potato salad & mac and cheese we've had. They really know what they are doing on the grill. Super sweet family. Will definitely be back and will probably have them cater our wedding. REALLY enjoyed it. You can't go wrong with this place.

Ate here night before last and the food was excellent. Will definitely be a repeat customer. I had the beans, potato salad, and chopped beef sandwich, all three are delicious! Food portions are big as well, and price was not bad. I bought two sandwiches and one side of each plus a drink cost wasn’t much. All of it fed two of us. As I write this review I’m getting hungry for it again. Think it’s what we will have for dinner today.
